We have decided to hold off on renting our own dedicated server for DayZ standalone at this time. Currently there are no features that would benefit us having our own server (aside from kicking asshats and hackers) as they have not implemented things like tents, vehicles, camps, so banding up on Mumble and joining any 'ol server will do for now. We will however keep the forum that is dedicated to it active as it is still a good place to share news, plans, and resources for DayZ.
A dedicated RUST server is also in the works thanks to Daevid who was nice enough to volunteer running one for the first while. If this server gathers enough popularity we could look into some plans to keep it around long-term however due to their server hosting model this would be one of the more expensive servers for us to upkeep. Still we intend to keep it around until everyone loses interest.
And finally, in the spirit of community hosted servers and survival games Project Zomboid has released their multiplayer test, and their dedicated server software! Due to the state of the dedicated server software we can not run a stable server just yet, but I am hosting one "on demand" for anyone in Mumble that wishes to play.
More and more we're starting to look like a survival games community, and I like it.
Please disregard the server status icon on the left for now, the server is online but without monitoring for now. If you have issues connecting to the server please make some noise. Keep in mind that the server is public, not password protected, and that safety is mostly your own issue until Chucklefish decides to add a better form of server administration.
EDIT: Just applied the new dedicated server patch which should help with stability as well as performance. Let me know if your issues persist!

Mumble - m.binarychaos.net - mumble.binarychaos.net
Minecraft - mc.binarychaos.net - minecraft.binarychaos.net
Starbound - sb.binarychaos.net - starbound.binarychaos.net
And logically other servers in the future will follow a similar format when possible unless otherwise posted.
I've also allowed the upload of *.abc files to the forum, this is useful for Starbound players as it is the format of music files that the in game instruments use. Share your tunes and start a band!
Unfortunately the Linux dedicated server software does not play nice with CentOS. I'm hoping that by later tonight I'll find a solution or alternative to this problem so we can have up to 32 of us online!
Server Update! The Starbound server is online, connect to starbound.binarychaos.net with no password for now! Until we get griefed...
